Years ago, after a long evening of waiting for midnight / my 30th birthday to come around, night owl Wike was the first one to congratulate me and to point out the fact that during the very first minute of my thirties, iTunes decided to reward my patience by playing Love Is All‘s “Ageing Had Never Been His Friend”. I haven’t trusted the shuffle algorythm ever since.
Today, Love Is All’s new album “Two Thousand and Ten Injuries” popped up on VPRO’s Luisterpaal, and again Wike was the first one to mention it. The two are forever connected, or so it seems. You can go listen to that and/or enjoy the oldie below that originally appeared on their 2005 album “Nine Times That Same Song”. Or you can do something entirely different, like study these perfectly cute rainbow cakes to surprise me next time my birthday comes around.
